Bloom’s roots
Bloom started life in 2018 as an independent magazine and book publisher for gardeners and nature lovers.
For more than five years, we were on a mission to gently nudge people outdoors, no matter their budget, background or experience. We won awards, hosted events and connected with a gorgeous audience.
Bloom’s publishing was modern and nature-first, fusing expert gardening advice with exciting journalism about our wild world.

The founders
In 2018, I had just moved into a house with a garden (my first!) and I was looking for help in turning my barren plot into a beautiful one – I was utterly out of my depth. Bloom blossomed at that very moment.
In 2025, Charlotte came on board as co-founder. We bonded over a similar experience: the luxury of a garden to garden but no clue what to do.
We know that so many of you want modern, practical, achievable guidance on gardening and an easy way to get the right plants for the right place. And, crucially, an easy and fun way to bring more nature into your life.
We’re here to simplify the complex, costly, often time-consuming world of gardening and help you create a garden you want to be in.
